Richard Ponton, Ph.D, LPC, LMHC, BCN, ACS
Dr. Richard Ponton is an experienced counselor and consultant. He is skilled in solution focused approaches to behavioral and relationship concerns. He is experienced in working with adults and particularly in marriage and couples counseling, family therapy, and addictions. He taught and published in the areas of psychology, counseling, marriage and couples counseling and addictions for thirty years.
With a significant record of scholarly publications and national presentations, and as the previous editor of the Journal of Mental Health Counseling, he is known throughout the country by other counselors and psychologists for his work in these areas. Dr. Ponton is trained in neurofeedback, EMDR, addiction treatment, and marriage and family counseling. He is Board Certified in Neurofeeback.
Sharon Moleski, MA, LPC, LCADC, BCN, ACS
Sharon is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor who has been providing caring and effective service to adults, adolescents, and children since 2007. Both in public service and private practice, Sharon’s approach emphasizes a gentle compassion that is demonstrated by her accessibility and commitment to client growth.
Sharon is Board Certified in Neurofeedback and works with people to develop “brain healthy” approaches to addressing life’s challenges.
Trained and experienced in EMDR and other trauma focused approaches, she is equipped to help clients heal from trauma. She is certified in clinical hypnosis and uses that tool to help clients meet behavioral and emotional goals.
She has published articles in state and national publications and assisted in research with nationally recognized scholars. Sharon has presented workshops at state and national conferences of organizations including the American Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association, the Associated Treatment Providers, and the American Mental Health Counselor Association.
